The New update for CSGO and Dota 2 Came, the update was a profanity filter to both games. Both games update added the chat filter option that will block profanity from both Dota 2 and CSGO's in-game chat. You can still disable or enabled it on both games. Today we're shipping a new communication setting called Text Filtering, which cleans up offensive UGC within CS:GO. Thats because some of Dota 2's in game items and names that shouldn't be censored are censored funnily enough. Its only for text chat though, and may not relevant in your gaming experience except if you really are a toxic person to begin with. It will take time for valve to improve the system and wait and see the improvements that may lie in the future to fight back toxicity on their games.
