Even though I hate Epic Game's exclusive practices the only thing that I use epic games are acquiring freebies and I still not using their launcher to this day.

Epic alo letting you claim the premium Edition of GTA V, that includes "the complete GTA V story, Grand Theft Auto Online and all existing gameplay upgrades and content" according to Rockstar.
It also includes the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack, this will give you additional content and 1 million dollars of bonus cash for GTA Online.
The announcement are tweeted on their official account that has been deleted.

The cause is due the high influx of users wanted a free copy of Grand Theft Auto V. But now has been fixed by Epic.
The only problem is that you need to install that launcher which is Epic Game's Launcher.
I hope that Valve and other developers follow suit for giveaways due to Epic Game's weekly freebies, to stay relevant.
The only problem is that the developers likes Epic more than Steam but customers like Steam more over Epic, if Valve make the developers satisfied this will make Epic lose some users hopefully.
But of course players only want is the game which is GTA V. I hope that some of existing Steam players goes back to Steam and buy GTA V there instead.
Its still my opinion, its you that would decide what launcher to use and have fun gaming and stay safe!
